Carditone by Ayush Herbs, is a unique herbal formulation healthygoods on India's Ayurvedic principles. Carditone promotes healthy blood pressure and gives off a calmative and carditonic effect. It as well helps relieve hypertension, heart palpitations, and irregular heart beats. Keep in mind while using Carditone that it has sedative and tranquilizing properties.
Carditone contains the herb Rauvolfia serpentina--an important therapeutic aid in promoting healthy blood pressure. It exerts hypotensive effects by the depletion of norepinephrine through inhibition of catecholamine storage in postganglionic adrenergic nerve endings.
Carditone has a dilating effect on small blood vessels, increasing blood flow to the heart. It also helps diuretic activity without depleting your levels of potassium. The Indian coral powder included provides calcium and magnesium that give strength to the heart. Magnesium is a very important element in hypertension and coronary-artery diseases.
Carditone can also be used with Rentone--an herbal formulation that promotes kidney health and healthy diuretic activity. If you are planning on taking Carditone and Rentone together, it is recommended to take one capsule of each two times per day.

Dr. Ben,
Thank you very much for your help. I have been using carditone 1/2 a pill, twice daily. My blood pressure is right around 120/80. Before bed my blood pressure is lower than that sometimes. Heart beat is about 55-60. I feel very good. I have ordered Liver Nutrients as you suggested. Thank you again.

Hello -
I am very careful in making recommendations to those taking blood pressure medications. It is not to be taken lightly.
Carditone is definitely an effective herbal supplement to lower blood pressure.
Consider supporting your liver nutritionally as a congested liver may increase blood pressure. Consider taking 1 capsule of Liver Nutrients with dinner daily.
Taking CoQ10 is also important for ejection fraction. Consider taking 1 to 2 capsules daily of Active CoQH with dinner to support heart function. A low heart rate may be perfectly fine especially if you are in shape and fit.
Also consider eliminating wheat and dairy products from your diet - as both may be causing sinus congestion.
Please do visit your doctor to have your cardiovascular system evaluated fully.

Hello -
That is a high blood pressure. Please go to your doctor to have it looked at and addressed.
Too much Carditone is when the blood pressure drops too low - below 120/80.
If you are going to increase the amount you are taking - be sure to space out the capsules by 12 hours - 8 AM and 8 PM for example.
You may consider taking 2 capsules in the AM and 2 capsules in the PM. Again - having your physician monitor your blood pressure and treatment.

Hello -
If you take this combination, be sure to have your doctor monitor your blood pressure regularly - and also obtain a quality blood pressure home system so you can monitor it yourself as well.
Hawthorne is more designed to help your heart contract more strongly (great for congestive heart failure) and effectively while Carditone is more designed to reduce blood pressure.

Hi PW -
It is not a good idea to mix blood pressure lowering supplements or meds together without your doctor's approval.
Please talk with your doctor about your desire to switch off meds for lowering blood pressure to using something like Carditone. If your doctor does not know about herbs and supplements for blood pressure, then do find one that does.
You may find a good integrative doctor by looking at this find a doctor resource.

Hello -
Given that blood pressure is critical to keep within range, it is not safe for me to recommend anything.
If your blood pressure is still elevated, do talk with your doctor about altering your protocol to get it down to a suitable level.
Carditone is quite effective if taken properly.
It is best to take Carditone every 12 hours.
If you add Carditone to your current regimen without altering anything, you may find your blood pressure dropping too low.
In health,
Dr Ben
Hello,
Please communicate to your physician about the supplements you take, as high blood pressure is a serious health condition. Carditone is normally safe to take with CoQ10. With that said, I do not know your full medical history, so please consult with your physician first. Do not take CoQ10 if taking Warfarin (AKA: Coumadin). When choosing a CoQ10 supplement, look for the CoQ10 from a natural source vs. a synthesized source. CoQ10 is primarily lipid-soluble, so it needs to be in the presence of oil to be absorbed ie: consuming fat when taking the CoQ10.
Let me know if I can help you with any other questions.
