Heel products are generally indicated to be taken several times a day and are not typically subject to neutralizing when taken with other medications. Most of Heel's BHI products are manufactured in tablets. This is an easy-to-use dosage form which consistently delivers the right amount of medicine. The tablets should be taken sublingually (under the tongue) and allowed to dissolve in the mouth. They should not be swallowed whole. The medicine enters the bloodstream directly from the mouth without needing to go through the liver first, maximizing the medicine's effectiveness.
