Wise Woman Herbals

The name Wise Woman Herbals was chosen to honor the early European herbalists. We honor them further by producing over 300 whole herb supplements using time-tested traditional processes. We do not produce standardized extracts that strive to attain certain concentrations of a single chemical component at the expense of losing essential cofactors because we believe that all of the plant constituents are required to provide a completely beneficial herbal product as intended by nature.

We only use the finest organic, cultivated, biodynamic, ethically wildcrafted, and best quality plants and then preserve their integrity by adding only natural ingredients. Organic grain alcohol, certified kosher vegetable glycerin, organic cold-pressed olive oil, and/or mountain spring water are added to extract the desired plant properties through a time-intensive maceration process. This is a process similar to making fine wine.
