Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10, is often mistaken for a new drug even though it is a nutritional supplement. CoQ10 is made within our bodies, and our ability to produce it decreases with age. CoQ10 is a coenzyme, meaning a vitamin and an enzyme are combined to provide what is needed for specific physiological functions in the body. This potent nutrient is a precursor for metabolic function at the cellular level. It is required in the production of ATP and is the vital link between glycolysis, beta oxidation and the initiation of the Krebs cycle. CoQ10 is also vital in cellular anabolism such as protein synthesis which builds new cells within the body and provides the bridge between anaerobic metabolism and aerobic metabolism.

Often symptoms associated with pain, muscle weakness and chronic inflammation can be helped with dietary supplementation of CoQ10 such as CoQ10 Liposome Tincture. CoQ10 is the catalyst to initiate the Krebs cycle, the process where nutrients from foods are converted to ATP, and works in the electron transport system to ensure complete respiration from the lungs into the depth of the cells by facilitating the transport of ATP.

Energetix offers a unique variety of non-synthetic CoQ10 in a liposome tincture. Liposome tinctures are absorbed directly into the bloodstream via the parotid gland, thus bypassing the acid terrain in the stomach. Because a fat carrier ensures the absorbability of CoQ10 in the blood, vitamin E is included in Energetix' CoQ10 Liposome Tincture.

    • Hi there Dr Ben

I was looking for a CoQ10 product on your site and came across your message to Brenda above and her pets. I did some research into Xylitol a few months ago and discovered that, while indeed it does have anti-bacterial qualities, it can actually cause hypoglycemia in dogs.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xylitol#Dogs

I felt compelled to inform you - perhaps you'd like to look into it yourself and pass the information on to Brenda.
Thanks (no need to publish this message on your site, though perhaps edit your post above - unless you know something that I don't??)

    • Brenda and Kisses - For humans, there is an herb which stimulates salivary glands - Prickly Ash Consider this product and spray into Kisses mouth every now and then throughout the day (this is not our store but I do trust them): http://shop.gaiaherbs.com/Fresh-Breath/p/GAIA-90813C12&c=GaiaHerbs@D-F I also recommend you consider Xylitol. Obtain some xylitol powder and place some in her water and on her food. Xylitol is amazingly anti-bacterial. http://www.healthegoods.com/xylitol-500g-granules.html In health, Dr Ben
