GASTRIC REPAIR COMPLEX combines soothing mucilaginous herbs and protective amino acids. Many products sold today for GI disorders act to block hydrochloric acid production or neutralize it. The problem with this approach is the inhibition of normal digestion and assimilation of protein, fat, carbohydrate, B vitamins, and minerals. Blocking hydrochloric acid also increases the risk of Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach and/or intestinal dysbiosis. Intestinal dysbiosis occurs when the ideal balance of healthy bacteria is disrupted by the growth of bacteria, yeast, and other intestinal pathogens. I have been taking Prilosec or Prevacid for many years to control acid reflux and this past year I started taking Gastric Repair Complex.
Within a few weeks I noticed that I did not have the reflux that I had been experiencing and have managed to get totally off of the prilosec and prevacid.
Of course, a good diet helps, but I no longer have to have Rx for acid reflux.
I will continue to use it and keep a good stock on hand at all times. (Posted on 10/17/12) -

- I have a question in concerned to Gastric Repair Complex product.
Gastric Repair Complex enhances the development of normal protective mucosal barriers. what does that mean ? does this mean that this product is going to sterlize hydrochloric acid back to stomach where about intestinal pathogens can no longer evade in the stomach? if NOT please do explain.
Also if pathogens such H.plori has entered your stomach. what approach and methods can you take to eradicate this infection? if you can explain this in detailed form that would be great , i appreciate your time

Hello -
This means that Gastric Repair Complex is going to help heal a damaged stomach lining. A healthy stomach lining makes it more likely to keep out pathogens - such as helicobacter pylori - but does not guarantee that of course - especially in the presence of low stomach acid.
If H pylori has entered your stomach, there are certain things that must be done in a certain order and it takes some time.
The gold standard in medicine is triple antibiotic therapy combined with Saccharomyces boulardii.

I ran out of my HCL and experienced acid reflux.
I have lived on HCL for years. I know there
is a root cause to my digestion issues. My throat
is burning like fire and I am constantly burping.
Do you feel this product would help or would
the Biogenesis Intestinal repair be a better option?

I recommend you visit your doctor and let them know your situation. Underlying cause must be sought out and taking control of the burning is needed also.
Consider the following:
