I hope everyone’s having a great summer! Summer to me means getting some quality time outside after a long, cold winter, taking advantage of what nature has to offer, and BBQ’ing with friends and family.

August’s blogs will focus on the upsides of summer—fueling your activity of choice with the proper nutrition, protecting your skin with quality sunscreen and moisturizer, and keeping your energy levels high during the long summer days. I’m definitely going to take advantage of Trail Mix Day on August 31st by including delicious ideas for hiking food, along with a BBQ recipe or two.
