I'm a bit late catching on this band wagon but I thought I should throw in my 2 pennies.
There was a ton of craze, fear, mania - good ol' media - gotta love 'em.
I had an excellent organic spinach salad that night and then my wife came home and said, "Ben, you ate the spinach?! I told you yesterday that it was not safe to eat."
It pays to listen to your wife. :) Oops. I tend to multi-task and sometimes I'm too focused at the task at hand - so I missed the fact that if I ate that organic spinach, I would be on the can for 5-7 days with a solid bout of diarrhea.
I looked at Nadia and said - 'No worries, Nadia. We have all sorts of stuff here that will nip E. Coli in the butt - literally.'
I immediately downed the following:
- Two acidophilus pills each containing 8 billion organisms
- One tablespoon of Herbal Melange
I had zero issues with diarrhea. The Herbal Melange and two acidophilus pills wiped the E. Coli out of my system.
Herbal Melange is an odd product but highly effective as an anti-bacterial, anti-parasite and anti-viral. It is basically concentrated herbs, naturally formed humic acid and minerals found in peat bogs. It is completely safe - my little kids use it if they have stomach cramps or their digestion is faulty.
Consider Herbal Melange and a good quality acidophilus next time you are:
- Traveling overseas
- Coping with diarrhea
- Parasite infection
- Inflammed digestive tract
She had tried the Herbal Melange in the past and was not offended by it - didnt like it much but not offended by the taste at all. It basically tastes like nothing - only a bit like you have sand and dirt in your water.
I poured one teaspoon of the Herbal Melange and handed her that along with 2 capsules of refrigerated acidophilus.
She called me the following day from her cell phone telling me that her diarrhea was gone. It had stopped that evening.
It may be difficult for some to grasp that natural products actually work. However, remember that not so long ago, people had only products such as Herbal Melange to call on when in need.
I'm glad I was able to enjoy my salad and not fret. :)
