Last Sunday was an incredible day. Nope not spent skiing, backpacking, playing with my kids or raking leaves. My butt was parked in the Bastyr auditorium listening to my professor, Dr Walter Crinnion, ND, talk about environmental medicine.

Damn it was intense.

An incredibly informative website that shows which companies are polluting your town and with what is Scorecard.

This is an excellent and interesting resource.

There is something kinda weird though.

The government does not demand agriculture or anyone using pesticides or herbicides to report. That is not a good deal. The amount of agribusiness going on today in unreal - and not to mention the amount of pesticide spraying.

At least we have Scorecard. For now it is something.

Enjoy - not really the right word - checking your zip code and seeing how your town is doing and what some companies are doing to it.
