[/caption]Can I put Vitamin D3 from a gel cap on my Psoriasis?
Answer:
Hi there -
You certainly may apply vitamin D3 from a gel cap onto the psoriasis plaques.
I recommend that you consider using liquid vitamin D3 vs vitamin D3 gel caps. This is more cost effective and easier to do.
Consider also mixing your own formula of:
- Liquid vitamin D3
- Liquid vitamin A
- Liquid Zinc
- Olive oil
Apply to affected areas twice or more daily.
There is a great research summary on psoriasis here along with other recommended products
I have seen clinical benefit from patients using:
- FlavSalve
- Moor Mud Bath
Should you have further questions, please do ask.
Do let me know how you are doing after a month of using the above suggestions.
One tip that I was taught by one of my clinical supervisors which I found quite powerful is:
- Conditions and disease states are due to the body not functioning optimally. It is not you. You are functioning just fine.
The question that you posed to me:
"Can I put D3 from a gel cap on my psoriasis?"
If you look at that question, you see that psoriasis has become part of you. However, it has not truly. It is simply a sign showing that there is an imbalance in the immune system and digestive system.
I have found that patients which state questions similar to the one above have a more difficult time in completely eradicating their condition.
Phrasing the question as below maintains separation from you and the condition:
"May I apply Vitamin D3 from a gel cap onto the psoriasis?"
It is a subtle yet very powerful difference that I have found highly clinically relevant.
I wish you full health and disappearance of the psoriasis.
In health,
Dr Ben
