Hi, I recently received an avulsion on the pad of my finger. It's not horrible and I didn't go to the hospital because my brother is an EMT (I am in school for it) and he said it didn't need stitches. He told me to flap the skin back over the wound so it would heal. Now, 5 days after the incident, a yellow liquid is building up around the edges of the wound, under the skin, and seeps out when I happen to bump it. I have two questions. First, what is the yellow liquid? Second, my wound doesn't have any feeling and I was wondering if I would regain the feeling.
Thank you very much for your time,
