You may just let the drop of Vitamin D360[/url:3l80tdxl] 'roll around in your mouth

The oil is best absorbed this way. Drinking water won't do anything to improve absorption.

It is working by simply putting a drop or three directly into your mouth.

Keep it easy!

Hi there -

The D360 flew on us and we ran out of stock. I have a 1000 more bottles coming in end of this month which should last us a couple months. Sorry for the wait!

The Vitamin D360 is very easy to take.

Simply drop a drop of it on your tongue and that's it. No meal or snack needed.

Your body will absorb it well.

You may take it anytime of day, with or without meals.

Nice - finally an easy way to take a supplement!

Best,
Dr Ben

Hi I just received my liquid D3 as it was on backorder- I had been taking the capsules until now. So it says to take 1 drop on tongue but I am wondering do you let it sit on tongue and soak in or do you drink water with it to wash it down? Also should it be refridgerated it doesnt say so but just wanted to be sure. Just want the best way to take and absorb. I used it after dinner but I am wondering if you need to even take it at a meal since its not a capsule? Thanks

Usually it is ok to take multivitamins and vitamin D3 together. However, with your sensitivity, it may not be the best thing to do.

Experiment to see what works best for you and keep me posted.

I have heard of Vitamin D3 causing achy joints. I have been trying to find out the reason.

Only thing I can come up with is it may increase the immune response causing inflammation - but this is theoretical.

What was your vitamin D3 level again according to the blood test? 15 or something?

I recommend you consider taking 2,000 IU of Vitamin D3 twice a day - AM and PM with a meal. See how you do with that.

The only time I recommend taking ProBiota 12 is about 10 minutes after dinner. This is the best time to take a probiotic. However, if not possible or easy, then simply take it during your last meal or snack of the day.

Alcohol may have a negative effective on some of the bacteria found in ProBiota 12 but also may not. If you eat some food when taking ProBiota 12, it should be fine.

I do not recommend taking vitamins during the same time as drinking wine or other alcohol as it may oxidize them.

You can take any of the recommended nutrients any time of day except for the multivitamin. I do not recommend taking Optimal Multivitamin within 5 hours of going to bed.

Hi so couple more questions...was increasing my vit d3 everyday started at 1000 couple days then did 2000 couple days and then 3000-then 5000. But didnt do to well with the 5000 think its too much for me makes me drowsy and achey joints and not feeling great. Have you ever heard of this happening???

Do you think I should do like 2000 in am and 2000 in pm instead of vit d3. The only thing is that I usually take the high d3 doses at night b/c it makes me tired so not sure how to do it. Maybe i should just do the 2000 a day for awhile and see if that raises it? Dont know.

Also wondering if I have wine or a drink with dinner sometime will it effect the probiata or d3 or anything? Is it ok to have these together?

My schedule is quite different as I work a later shift and usually dont eat dinner until around 9pm...so trying to balance when to take all this stuff is challenging!

thanks for your help

Yep. That works.

Only thing I would change is to sprinkle ProBiota 12 Powder on a bite of food. This way you are ensuring you get all of it. Otherwise, the probiotic may stick to the bottom of the plate or the sides and you will not get the benefit.

Glad to hear you are tolerating everything well

Ease into them...don't rush.

ok so if I take the vit D3 and the probiata at dinner its ok to mix? I sprinkled the probiata powder on my dinner and ate it that way. Then took the D3 after dinner. Everything going good so far I am able to tolerate all 3 well so far at low doses. Each day I will increase until I am up to required dose.
I would take them separately. Taking Vitamin D3 with dinner is a good time to take it.

You are correct. Taking Vitamin D3 and Optimal Multivitamin with food is the best for absorption and easiest on the stomach.

thank you...

Should I take the optimal health multi and vitamin D3 at the same time or separated a few hours? or is it better to take D3 at dinner..I have heard this.

And also, they are all better with food I imagine.

Hello -

Thank you for your patience. Busy week

You may listen to your recorded phone consult on Vitamin D3 Deficiency here[/url:3kf0bo9u].

As discussed, please see the attached handout on the Elimination Diet. I do not recommend doing this during the holidays - too stressful. Do it after and when you are mentally ready for it.
handout_elimination_diet_patient.pdf[/attachment:3kf0bo9u]

Pesticides and Herbicides are also damaging to immune systems. I recommend you print this out and study it. Cut out the wallet sized info and place it in your wallet as well.
EWG-shoppers-guide.pdf[/attachment:3kf0bo9u]

Consider taking 1/8 teaspoon of ProBiota 12 Powder[/url:3kf0bo9u] for a few days and increase as your system tolerates. I'd like to see you taking 1/2 teaspoon of ProBiota 12 Powder for 1 month solid and then after that, you can take 1 capsule of ProBiota 12[/url:3kf0bo9u] as a maintenance dose.

Always take ProBiota 12 after dinner. It doesn't matter what you eat.

As we discussed, always get these when you evaluate your thyroid:
- TSH, free T3, free T4, anti-TPO, anti-TG

Read Rob Wolff's book:
http://robbwolf.com/

The multivitamin I recommend Optimal Multivitamin by Seeking Health[/url:3kf0bo9u]. Optimal Multivitamin is easy on the digestive system as the minerals are chelated, digestive enzymes are present in the formula, no iron, vegetarian capsules and active forms of nutrients for increased absorption. Given your sensitivity, I recommend you take 1 capsule with breakfast, 1 with lunch and 1 at 2 PM. As you can tolerate, increase the dose to 2 capsules at each step.

There are numerous nutrients found in Optimal Multivitamin which support your immune system and in potent amounts if taking the suggested 8 capsules a day. Given that Optimal Multivitamin is well-absorbed and easy on the stomach, you should be able to tolerate 8 capsules a day spread out at 3 in the AM with breakfast, 3 at lunch and 2 around 2 PM.
Again, work up to this dose as you can tolerate.

Your digestive enzymes may be lacking along with your stomach acid. This makes it harder to digest foods and also may explain sensitivity to many things. The harmful bacteria in your digestive tract need to be removed and the ProBiota 12 will help get rid of them.

If you feel gas and bloating after meals, this may be due to not only lack of digestive enzymes or low stomach acid or weak bile secretion. Gas and bloating may be due to the harmful bacteria in the digestive system along and food intolerances from dairy and gluten (the top two culprits)

If you feel you need a digestive enzyme, consider Pro-Digestion by Seeking Health[/url:3kf0bo9u]. This is a complete vegetarian plant-based digestive enzyme that is sufficient for most people.

If you feel you need a stronger digestive enzyme, Pro-Digestive Intensive[/url:3kf0bo9u] may be needed. Pro-Digestive Intensive contains more potent enzymes along with enzymes which gluten and casein.

As discussed, a fish oil is recommend for daily health. Consider taking 1-2 teaspoons a day with food. The taste of Finest Pure Fish Oil by Pharmax[/url:3kf0bo9u] is quite good.

Remember, probiotics need to be taken long term. So do multivitamins, EPA/DHA and vitamin D3 (unless getting sun exposure without sunscreen).

You asked if Premarin is going to interfere with any of these, I do not believe so. I would ask the doctor who prescribed the Premarin. To be safe, I would take the Premarin 30 minutes to 1 hour away from any supplement.

Do not take a multivitamin within 6 hours of going to bed due to the potent nutrients there. The B vitamins are potent and may keep you awake.

Should you have any questions, please do ask.

In health,
Dr Ben
