Tired of not feeling good after taking your multivitamin? Tablets get stuck? Nauseated or constipated after taking your multivitamin? Or you trying to find a multivitamin that actually contains effective nutrients and makes you actually feel great!?
Optimal Multivitamin by Seeking Health simply works, is gentle, provides energy and effective nutrients. The nutrients are in vegetarian capsules without any flow agents such as magnesium stearate, preservatives, anti-caking agents or inferior forms of nutrients. Dr Ben has finally created a multivitamin that he and his family personally take and welcomes you to experience Optimal Multivitamin as well.
From Dr Ben:
Over the last ten years I have tried countless multivitamins by leading respected vitamin manufacturers. I have been unimpressed as they always have one or more things wrong with it. Either their multivitamin irritated the stomachs of my patients, caused nausea, caused diarrhea or constipation, did not provide noticeable improvement in energy or it contained some quality ingredients while others were inferior forms. Finally, I got tired enough of all these issues and tackled the problem myself. If I know what it takes to make a multivitamin, then make it yourself. Quit your whining. So I did. And here it is.
I, my wife and the team at Healthy Goods have been using Optimal Multivitamin. My review:
I notice that I can take 4 capsules at a time and not experience any nausea or stomach pain. There is no constipation and I feel a steady energy. Feeling more focused combined with steady energy is the biggest improvement since having started taking Optimal Multivitamin. I don't crash in the afternoon anymore. I take another 2 capsules around lunch time and then another 2 capsules around 4 pm in order to get the suggested serving size of 8 capsules per day. This system works well for me and I believe it will work well for you as well.
Eight capsules per serving? Am I nuts? No. If you want to have an effective daily nutritional supplement without having to open 5 bottles or buy 5 other products, then you need to have a multivitamin with numerous capsules. This is more cost-effecitve, preventative against disease and easier. If you go somewhere, you just need your Optimal Multivitamin, fish oil and vitamin D3. That's it for daily nutrition.
Multivitamins that claim 'One a Day' or 2 capsules per serving are an absolute garbage product. These are severely lacking in the nutrients required for optimum daily health. Multivitamins that have 3 capsules per serving and are in the form of compressed tablets, you are lucky if you get a third of the nutrient amount due to the compression and oils they use which coat their multivitamin.
Optimal Multivitamin is just that. It is a simple name without marketing hype or gimmicks. It is simply an Optimal Multivitamin designed to support your daily nutrient needs for both men and women as it contains no iron. You've actually found a multivitamin that will work well for you. Now all you have to do is give it a try. You will finally experience what a multivitamin should do for you...

FUNCTIONS Studies show that a high percentage of adults in North America and other developed areas eat less than the minimum daily allowance of 10 or more essential nutrients. Adequate amounts and proper balance of these nutrients are needed not only for maintaining good health, but also for the dietary management of the body’s structure as well as the optimum functioning of its various systems, including the immune and gastrointestinal systems. Optimal Multivitamin by Seeking Health has been carefully developed to contain the right proportions of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and other nutrients without danger of toxic build-up or other side effects.
Each ingredient is selected in consideration of its absorbability, competitive relationship with other nutrients, allergenic potential, and long-term safety. Certain nutrients such as beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, and B-complex vitamins are included in high-potency amounts because of the vital roles they play in antioxidant protection, energy production, the maintenance of healthy blood cells, the nervous system, hormonal balance, and more. Minerals and trace elements are provided in their safest and most bioavailable forms.
Optimal Multivitamin by Seeking Health herbal green food healthygoods also includes important phytonutrients. As a dietary supplement, adults take 3 capsules with breakfast and 3 capsules at lunch and 2 capsules around 3 PM with a snack or as recommended by a health professional. Do not take within 5 hours of sleep. Do not take with additional vitamin C powder or your Iron supplement as it will destroy the vitamin B12 and folic acid. Take your iron supplement and additional vitamin C at least 1 hour after your Optimal Multivitamin - or better yet - take your Iron and vitamin C supplements in the evening.

This has been a wonderful choice for me. It is one of the few multi-vitamins that does not cause nausea or any GI distress for me. I also have food allergies and am so grateful to not have to worry about that with these vitamins. No hidden fillers, just only what is easily digestible and readily available for my body to use! I have never been able to take a multivitamin. They always contain iron which made me sick to my stomach.
Additionally, this vitamin contains the methylcobalamin and 5-MTHF I need to treat my MTHFR deficiency. Killing two birds with one stone. (Posted on 10/17/12)
Started taking the Optimal Multivitamin by Seeking Health a little over a week ago and have been feeling healthier overall. Noticing an increase in energy too. (Posted on 10/17/12)
I finally found a great quality multi vitamin! This formula has everything I've been looking for in one bottle and I can take it on an empty stomach with no problems. I have been taking it a short time but feel an energy lift since switching to this multi along with the Seeking Health Whey Slim.

The form of Betaine in the Optimal Multivitamin will not be the same as in HomocysteX Plus. In the Optimal Multivitamin the Betaine is blended with HCl to help with absorbtion.

I would consider the Kid's Optimal Multivitamin instead and take 3 capsules with breakfast and 3 capsules with lunch - this makes it an adult multivitamin.
The small amount of fruit powders is likely not going to affect your anti-candida diet; however, it is better to be supportive of what you are doing and not introduce anything which may conflict.
Thank you for your inquiry. Minerals are often found in multivitamin formulas. Some are available in chelated form, which means that the minerals are bonded to protein molecules that transport them to the blood stream and enhance their absorption. When mineral supplements are taken with a meal, they are usually automatically chelated in the stomach during digestion. In fact, a good multivitamin and multimineral should be a part of everyone's diet, with additional supplements as necessary. Calcium supplements are more effective when taken in smaller doses spread thoughout the day than taken in a single megadose. Some vitamin companies use a compound called D1-calcium phosphate in their products. This form of calcium is insoluble and interferes with the absorption of the nutrients in a multinutrient supplement. It is not the case in the Optimal Multivitamin from Seeking Health. Excessive calcium intake can affect magnesium absorption and vice versa, supplents should always be taken in balanced amounts, like in the Optimal Multivitamin.
Have a great day :)
Regarding the Atenolol, you want to avoid any supplements which contain any stimulant-type substances, and the Seeking Health Optimal Multivitamin does not contain stimulants.
There is no set MTHFR protocol for anyone. If you have been diagnosed with a MTHFR defect, and you want to try taking some methylfolate, what I recommend trying to do is this:
Genetics, lifestyle, diet, medications all play a role in how much methylfolate and methylcobalamin are needed – and these amount can change daily as well.
Finding a doctor that understands this is critical – or you will have a difficult time regaining health – and maintaining it.
If you do test positive for MTHFR, I strongly recommend you find a naturopath or doctor in your location who is experienced working with MTHFR. This is very important or the wrong recommendations could make your symptoms worse. Here are some websites to find a doctor near you:

Hello there and thank you for your questions. Since you are not sure about your exact diagnosis, I do not recommend you begin mixing supplements at this point. I recommend you wait to know your exact mutation since different mutations require different treatments. Also, by mixing supplements, if you do have a negative reaction, it will be harder to know what’s causing what. I suggest you start with the optimal vitamin and leave it at that until you know your exact mutation (if you have one). At that point, I highly recommend finding a health care provider who is very knowledgeable about MTHFR mutations so they treat your condition appropriately and can guide you with supplement use. Here are a few websites to help locate a health care provider in your location and ask if they treat MTHFR.
Regarding the probiotic, this is no problem to take this with other supplements. Probiotics are a wonderful addition to any healthy lifestyle. Remember, probiotics are sensitive to warm temperatures and moisture. Keep them refrigerated with the lid tightly shut to minimize entry of moisture into the bottle. Take the capsules after dinner.
