Manuka honey is a monofloral honey produced in New Zealand and Australia from the nectar of manuka tree blossoms.
Manuka honey has been shown to heal stomach ulcers, improve sore throats, treat skin ulcers and wounds, burns and pressure sores, fend off MRSA and get rid of h pylori, otherwise known as helicobacter pylori.
Manuka honey is thick and rich, and ranges from a deep golden to amber color.
