Alen HEPA air filters should be replaced every six months to achieve maximum air filtration. With regular Alen air filter replacements, you extend the life of your air purifier, meet Alen's Lifetime Warranty Policy and ensure optimal air particle removal.
How to replace your Alen Filter :
Turn off your Alen Purifier, remove front cover and remove the dirty Alen Filter. Insert the new Alen Filter paying attention to which way it goes in. Next, reset the Alen Purifier so it keeps track when it is time to replace the Alen Filter again. In order to reset the unit, the filters and the back panel needs to be in place - this will allow the unit to turn on. Once the unit is turned on, hold down the reset button with a paper clip for 8 seconds. HEPA lights will then disappear and reappear over time and usage of the unit.

I had used Oreck before getting the Alen HEPA air filters, glad I made the switch. Amazing the amount of particles it picks up. Not that much dust anymore. Air quality is better. Easy to change filters and clean pre-filter periodically. (Posted on 10/17/12)
