Strong enough to remove moisture from a room up to 350 square feet, this small machine delivers 490 watts of power! And, since it's Energy Star rated, it's as efficient at saving energy as it is at moisture control!

And talk about convenient -the removable water tank holds up to five liters but you can also hook the MDF3-30 to existing water pipes for automatic drainage. Looking for a great way to reduce mold in your bathroom? Here's your answer! In fact, the humidistat allows you to adjust the humidity levels in your room anywhere from 35% to 80%. Maybe you need a little more moisture in one room but not the next. The built in humidistat is designed to give you a choice. Consider, though that mold and bacteria love humidity levels above 80%, so you'll want to keep your MDF3-30 set below 50%. The MDF3-30 has adjustable fan speeds in addition to the adjustable moisture control. With two fan speeds, washable filters, casters and easy programing, you can't go wrong!

    Our bedroom used to smell 'damp' and we had a mold issue. I purchased the Alen Dehumidifier, plugged it in right away and the humidity meter was at 80%. A couple hours later, I walked back into our room and the 'damp' and 'musty' smell was absolutely gone. The humidity dropped down to 55% and stayed there with this unit. I emptied gallons of water out of it each day. We will never have a mold problem again - nor the musty smell. I highly recommend this unit - especially if there is a bathroom adjoining the bedroom.
