  • My house plant is infested with gnats, the plant itself does not attract gnats, it is the soil that I used recently for re-potting has eggs in the soil, once the eggs hatched thy came out in hundreds, how to get rid of the gnats and the eggs?

  • I HAVE NO HOUSE PLANTS. I HAVE VINEGAR ALL AROUND THE HOUSE, I BELIEVE THEY ARE COMING FROM THE KITCHEN DRAINS. I HAVE WELL WATER. HOW WOULD I HANG THE GNAT STIXS AND HOW LONG ARE THE STIXS? THE GNATS ARE VERY PESKY.

  • Jeannette - I highly recommend that you open the sink traps from under the sink and clean them. You may have some old food and 'gunk' in there that needs to get cleaned out. Basically, undo the plumbing drain - the U shaped portion - and clean that out. Be sure to have a flat container under the drain so you don't get water everywhere. They may be fruit flies as well?
