BioCare Clothes Moth Trap

BioCare's Clothes Moth Trap attracts and captures adult male webbing clothes moths. During the mating season, male moths are attracted to the trap by a long-lasting pheromone lure on a non-toxic sticky pad.

Clothes Moths occasionally occur in homes, where the larval stage damages clothing and other personal objects that are made of wool, hair, fur, feathers or other natural fibers. 

Clothes Moths are very difficult to find and identify. Because these moths are weak flyers that aren't attracted to lights, you'll usually find them close to the infested items, such as in a dark area of the closet. Close examination may reveal silken threads made by moth larvae under collars and clothing folds. 

The Clothes Moth Trap is a simple pheromone trap; the pheromone lure has a long lasting scent that brings in cloth moth males to land on the sticky surface. These are safe for use anywhere because they are non-toxic. 

Place the moth traps where you have seen moths. Replace trap every 3 months or sooner if full. Use at least 2 traps and not more than 4 traps at a time. Do not touch the lure.

Important Note: This trap signals when a damaging infestation is present; it does not control the larvae which feed on clothing and natural fibers. If moths are found in the trap, take immediate measures to control the larvae causing the damage. Search out damaged fabric and destroy, dry clean or freeze (place in freezer for at least 14 days).
