Why choose Seeking Health Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Tray?
Safer than plastic and aluminum. Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Trays are safer than aluminum copies for you and your family. The role of heavy metals such as aluminum in causing degenerative neurological diseases like Alzheimer's is not completely understood. Studies have found that brains of Alzheimer's patients contain elevated levels of aluminum, though a direct causal link has not been established. What is understood is that aluminum has no useful role in the human body. We prefer not to gamble and wait another couple decades while the long term health effects of aluminum to become obvious.
Easy to clean and maintain. Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Tray does not absorb dirt; in fact, it actually resists smudges, fingerprints and scuff marks relatively easily, making it very easy to clean and maintain. This ice tray can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitized easily or placed in your dishwasher.
Does not harbor germs. Because Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Trays are non-porous, it resists bacteria and germs more effectively than aluminum or plastic surfaces and is an attractive option for homes with young children or for anyone who wants to keep the contents of their ice trays as clean and healthy as possible.
BPA Free. BPA is the main building block of polycarbonate plastic, a hard plastic widely used to make kitchen utensils, food storage containers, travel mugs, water bottles and ice trays. BPA is also a main component of the epoxy linings found in metal food and beverage cans. The problem : Polycarbonate plastics can leach BPA into our food and beverages making it toxic. BPA has been linked to a variety of health problems, from reduced female fertility to increased diabetes risk. Stainless steel is one of the most hygienic surfaces available, so any foods or liquid that come into contact with the surface or material do not attract dirt or germs. Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice trays are 100% BPA Free.
Aesthetically pleasing, easy to use. The Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Tray can complement almost any kitchen, and the sleek, gleaming metallic finish makes the ice cube tray very easy on the eyes. The blue silicone comfort grips allow for easy removal from the fridge without slipping from your fingers or freezer burn.
Perfect for freezing homemade baby food. The frozen cubes make about 1 oz portions, making it easy to give baby just the right amount of food, unlike commercially packaged baby food that creates a lot of waste. You'll feel at ease knowing that your baby is only eating nutrient rich, high quality food from the safest, chemical- and toxin-free metal ice cube trays on the market. Frozen baby food also retains more nutrients than food that is sealed in jars or cans using high temperatures.
Store leftover smoothie or make fun summer popsicles at home. Store your leftovers from making breakfast smoothies by pouring into the ice cube tray. Later, smoothie ice-cubes can be popped out and put right back into the blender. Or make fun smoothie or fresh squeezed juice popsicles with the kids by filling the tray with your favorite creations. Coconut-pinapple-mango cubes, anyone?

Dr. Ben Lynch, founder and Chief Medical Officer of Seeking Health, is a naturopathic physician. While majoring in Cell and Molecular biology at the University of Washington, Dr. Ben took a trip through the South Pacific and Southeast Asia that changed his outlook on traditional medicine, and his life.
During this trip, Dr. Ben hiked through the forests, mountains and coasts of Tasmania, worked a cattle ranch in the Outback of Australia, and volunteered with Mother Theresa in Calcutta. He lived in Fiji with a family having no electricity or plumbing, experienced the Himalayan Mountains of Northern India, worked a fruit orchard in New Zealand, and returned to America with an impression of a different form of medicine than he had ever experienced with his mainstream medical education.
This profound experience led Dr. Ben to Bastyr University, and he studied the Mind-Body Connection, Environmental Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Epigenetics.
Dr. Ben saw the huge need for people to obtain foundational nutrients, and Seeking Health was born. Without foundational nutrients, biochemical dysfunction occurs and causes symptoms. Doctor after doctor and person after person do not understand the absolute requirement for our bodies to have the tools to maintain function.
“If one supports their bodily systems, especially their digestion and mental health, with pure, highly absorbable, well-formulated nutrients, the ability to remain healthy and vital significantly increases. We want your foundation rock solid and we provide the tools to do so.”
-Dr. Ben Lynch, founder of Seeking Health

how can these be stack-able when the tip of the handle sticks up? I want to buy more than one however they need to stack up onto each other. Comments from anyone who has tried this please. Thanks from MN.
Note from Healthy Goods: You're right, these are not stackable. We suggest a simple, inexpensive rack from a home improvement store may work. (Posted on 4/7/13)

I am not one to write reviews but after purchasing this ice tray I must spread the word on how fantastic it is. Here is a breakdown.
1. Silicone comfort grips - What really caught my eye were the silicone comfort grips. I have another ice tray similar to this one without the comfort grips and it was not so easy to handle and the cold steel felt uncomfortable against my skin. With the Pure Ice Stainless Steel Ice Cube Tray I do not have that problem.
2. Perfect Cubes - This ice tray makes the perfect size cubes and they are so easy to release with the lever. There really isn't a need to let them thaw or run the bottom under warm water.
3. BPA free - We all have heard of the toxic chemical BPA often found in plastic being leaked into our liquids and foods. This ice tray is BPA free and is perfect for freezing my lil sisters baby food!
4. Construction - The quality of this ice tray is impeccable. It comes in a very nice box with helpful instructions and tips on the back. I was impressed by the toll free number listed on the box if you have any questions or comments. I think that shows the company really cares about their product and are open to feedback. Also you can tell this is real high grade stainless steel. It is very durable and sturdy and will last years.
4. Price - I was a little hesitant to spend close to 30 bucks on an ice tray but checking the other ones on the market this is the best price you can get. Also when I got the ice tray and saw how well constructed it was and how beautiful and shiny, I was extremely pleased. You have no idea how many compliments I get, it is amazing!
Bottom line - You got to have this. It is the SUPERMAN of all ice trays. I'm on my way to purchase to 2 more! (Posted on 10/17/12)
Sounds like perhaps your ice tray is not level in the freezer?
Please make sure your Pure Ice stainless steel ice cube tray is level on the freezer shelf.
Also make sure your fridge is level.
I just checked my own Pure Ice Tray and removed the ice cubes from it. They are all uniform in size.
The ice cubes do have slanted ends on them - this is because how the water is frozen with the lever down. If the ice was a rectangle, the force required to break it would be much higher thereby breaking the handle or requiring a bulky, ugly handle.
All ice cubes should be uniform in size - with slanted ends.
Thank you for your inquiry. Sorry for the waiting, I finnally got an answer from the manufacture Seeking health. Seeking Health reports they are stackable.
Have a great day :)
