Electrolytes drive all muscle function from the blinking of an eye to the wiggling of a finger.
E-Lyte Balanced Electrolyte Concentrate can replace electrolytes lost as a result of:
E-lyte Balanced Electrolyte Concentrate is a dietary supplement that may be used for mineral balancing, preferably as a preliminary approach to nutritional support. E-lyte can replace electrolytes lost as a result of stress, poor diet, exercise, illness, medications, etc. There are no sweeteners or calories in E-lyte. The taste will be salty initially, but will become milder after use indicating your body's change in electrolyte balance.
CAUTION: Children, those with high blood pressure or on sodium restricted diets should consult your physician before use.
Some crystallization may occur. This will not materially affect nutritional value.
What is E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate used for?
Balanced Electrolyte Concentrate cleans & replenishes the blood by balancing the essential electrolytes, which is vital for proper CNS (central nervous system) & muscular function. Not only balancing, but constantly adding, in cases of fatigue and poor metabolic function, such as muscle cramps in legs and feet.
What are the ingredients in E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate?
E-Lye Electrolyte Concentrate is a proprietary blend of purified water with 3 macro minerals: potassium, sodium, and magnesium & their chemical partners: phosphate, chloride, bicarbonate, and sulfate.
What kind of purified water is used in E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate?
The water used in E-Ltye Electrolyte Concentrate is first passed through 2 filters, then through a large GE Reverse Osmoses filter, then another filter, then ultra violet purifier, then a deionizer, and finally another filter. Additionally, there is another filter, as well as a UV filter, just prior to packaging/filling. Water is our business and we are dedicated to providing the very best that is possible to obtain. That is the water that is used for all E-Lyte Electrolytes and BodyBio liquid minerals.
What is the recommended dosage of E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate?
The recommended dosage of E-Lye Electrolyte Concentrate is ½ an ounce of concentrate to 8 oz. of water, or 8 ounces into 1 gallon of water or milk. Drink an 8 oz. serving 1-2 times daily, or as directed by your physician or HCP.
How long will 1 bottle of E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate last?
There are 40 servings in one 20 oz. bottle of E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate. One bottle makes 2 ½ gallons of finished electrolyte drink. One bottle will last for approximately 20 to 40 days.
What can E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate be mixed with?
E-Lye Electrolyte Concentrate can be mixed with water or milk. Milk provides Calcium, the last of the important macro electrolytes. You can also pour 2-3 cupfuls of concentrate into already cooked soups, broths, stews, or any food you'd normally add salt to. Do not cook with E-lyte Electrolyte Concentrate, as the heat of cooking tends to reduce the magnesium content. Add it in after cooking.
Can E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate be mixed with Gatorade or other Juices? Why/Why Not?
Many sports drinks & most fruit juices can carry a strong acid pH, which changes the pH of E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate and is best not be used together. The high sugar content precipitates (removes) the alkaline macro minerals out of solution before the body can use them. Plus, it doesn't seem to taste right. You generally would not salt fruit drinks.
How does E-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate differ from E-LyteSport?
E-LyteSport was designed for athletes & has higher sodium content for high performance, since athletes tend to use up electrolytes rapidly during intense activity.

BodyBio was founded in 1995 by Dr. Patricia Kane and her entrepreneurial partner and husband, Edward Kane.
In 1995, Ed and Patricia Kane, Ph.D. developed a medical database program that would produce a list of required nutrients based on an individual’s blood chemistry results. It links nutritional deficiencies to a person’s blood chemistry/CBC and red cell fatty acids, and provides recommendations to correct those deficiencies, known as The BodyBio Report.
Focusing on evidence based nutrition for over 25 years, Dr. Kane has written numerous articles and books for both the scientific community and the public. Dr. Kane’s primary interest is in fatty acids, nutritional biochemistry, cell membrane function and neurological disturbances, and has a long standing interest in the challenging areas of seizure disorders, autism, traumatic brain injury, MS, ALS, Parkinson’s, CFIDS, and heavy metal toxicity. Her dedication and success in working with children and adults with fragile brain architecture and patients with challenging neurological problems has brought her widespread recognition in the field of nutritional biochemistry.
Dr. Kane works with doctors across the country addressing complex metabolic disorders and lipid disturbances with targeted nutritional intervention.
Dr. Kane serves as Director of Medical Research at BodyBio, having developed a biomedical analysis system for fatty acid and biochemical testing. Her expertise in boldly addressing complex metabolic aberrations and lipid disturbances with targeted nutritional intervention for neurological disorders has led to direct nutrient application utilized by medical doctors worldwide. Her clinical experience, working with physicians, spans 30 years.

Feel more balanced and replenished after drinking this product. Also a bit more energy and less muscle cramping. I drink 2 glasses a day and incorporate it in my everyday diet. My body is under constant stress due to p.t.s.d., fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I feel this helps with the tension. (Posted on 10/17/12)
Hi Heidi -
Great question and appreciate the fact you are looking to maintain and optimize your health!
I would personally recommend - and use - the Electrolyte Concentrate vs the others.
This is what I use to support my rehydration during basketball, soccer and hiking - and sauna therapy.
You may want to further enhance it by adding 25 tablets of Bioplasma cell salts per liter.
You'll find this combination pretty good tasting along with being quite effective and assisting rehydration and preventing post-workout fatigue and soreness.
