L-Glutamine Powder can replace glutamine lost due to stress or health conditions such as trauma, surgery, or chemotherapy. Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and perfoms many vital functions. 10.58 oz/ 300g
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body. Glutamine is produced in the muscles and is distributed by the blood to the organs that need it. It provides nitrogen and carbon to many different cells in the body, and is needed to make other chemicals such as other amino acids and glucose.
Stress and some health conditions can impair your body's ability produce enough glutamine, making supplementation necessary to functions such as protein synthesis and maintaining intestinal function.
Glutamine supplementation may be effective for those undergoing chemotherapy; side effects of chemotherapy such as diarrhea, pain and swelling inside the mouth, nerve pain, and muscle and joint pain may be lessened by glutamine.

Dr. Ben Lynch, founder and Chief Medical Officer of Seeking Health, is a naturopathic physician. While majoring in Cell and Molecular biology at the University of Washington, Dr. Ben took a trip through the South Pacific and Southeast Asia that changed his outlook on traditional medicine, and his life.
During this trip, Dr. Ben hiked through the forests, mountains and coasts of Tasmania, worked a cattle ranch in the Outback of Australia, and volunteered with Mother Theresa in Calcutta. He lived in Fiji with a family having no electricity or plumbing, experienced the Himalayan Mountains of Northern India, worked a fruit orchard in New Zealand, and returned to America with an impression of a different form of medicine than he had ever experienced with his mainstream medical education.
This profound experience led Dr. Ben to Bastyr University, and he studied the Mind-Body Connection, Environmental Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Epigenetics.
Dr. Ben saw the huge need for people to obtain foundational nutrients, and Seeking Health was born. Without foundational nutrients, biochemical dysfunction occurs and causes symptoms. Doctor after doctor and person after person do not understand the absolute requirement for our bodies to have the tools to maintain function.
“If one supports their bodily systems, especially their digestion and mental health, with pure, highly absorbable, well-formulated nutrients, the ability to remain healthy and vital significantly increases. We want your foundation rock solid and we provide the tools to do so.”
-Dr. Ben Lynch, founder of Seeking Health

Hello -
It is best to add between 10 grams to 30 grams to a liter water bottle and drink throughout the day - NOT all at once. Sip it. It appears you understand this which is excellent.
Start low - 10 grams (2 scoops) first to see how you do. If you feel you need more, you may increase by 1 scoop at a time.

Hello -
I have not heard any issue between L-Glutamine Powder and it affecting blood sugar.
It is ok to take L-Glutamine Powder with high blood sugar. If anything, it will help lower blood sugar due to the protein content.
Best thing to do is monitor your blood sugar anytime you make a dietary, lifestyle or supplement change to be sure.

Hello -
I do prefer the powder form as this likely helps coat the stomach lining better than just swallowing capsules.
I recommend adding the L-Glutamine Powder and Slippery Elm Powder to a liter of water and sipping throughout the day.
Adding 1 capsule of ZCG 500 three times daily between meals also is recommended for a few months.
Also the Saccharomyces Boulardii by Seeking Health - 2 capsules after dinner along with ProBiota 12 - 1 capsule after dinner.
Do avoid caffeine, chocolate, tomatoes, grains during this time.

Hello there!
L-Glutamine has a rapid turnover rate in your body so it is necessary to replish it everyday. I recommend adding the L-Glutamine Powder to a liter of water and sipping throughout the day and when you have bouts of reflux/burning. It is best to add between 10 grams to 30 grams to a liter water bottle and drink throughout the day, not all at once. Sip it. Because you’re also drinking cabbage juice, start with the smaller quantity of L-Glutamine first - 10 grams (2 scoops) to see how you do. If you feel you need more, increase by 1 scoop at a time.
Also consider adding 1 capsule of ZCG 500 three times daily between meals also for a few months. http://healthygoods.com/seeking-health-zcg-500.html
Also, take along with ProBiota 12 powder. ¼ teaspoon for 1 week and then ½ teaspoon for a few weeks and then down to 1/8 teaspoon for maintenance dose. Take about 10 minutes after dinner. http://healthygoods.com/seeking-health-probiota-12-powder-maximum-support-200-billion-cfu-s.html
You can also take the ProBiota 12 capsules for maintenance. http://healthygoods.com/probiota-12-maximum-support-50-billion-cfus-twelve-species-probiotic-60-vegetarian-capsules-seeking-health.html
This combination helps support a healthy stomach lining and provides beneficial bacteria which are commonly deficient in those with reflux and/or gastritis.
