The taste is not that great so I recommend mixing in some organic applesauce. Without consulting with you, I cannot offer additional information on which product would be best to help nourish your body and cleanse the kidneys. In short, PectaSol C does help bind heavy metals according to research but I am not of the level of reduction it provides. Cleansing is a multi-faceted process which requires a complete protocol in order to be done safely and effectively.
