  • I a have been using peppermint oil in enems for 1 year for colon inertia, & defacation outlet syndrome, are the 2 on your site safe to use in the cleansing? very experiaced @ doing this, already had the sitz marker , many tests, last was the defography,.....ugggghhhhh,...., so was looking to buy the stainless steel bucket, have a plastic 1,500cc one for little ones, & the lavage system , with silicone nozzle, with the retention baloon to use or not, what i want is the flowmaster, but cant afford it...Plus wont be much longer & ill be getting a sub total coloectomy SAD to say but YOU OR ANYONE, would get tired of doing high volume enemas every single day, like 5-6 gallons with bak soda & peppermint oil, taking 5-6 hours a day, so my life is ENEMAS,....just tired, sore, hurt, etc.....Thanks, Angel
  • Angel - I don't recommend the use of this peppermint for internal use. I am sorry to hear about your situation. Have you thoroughly explored all the options of cause? B12 deficiency Heavy metal toxicity Solvent exposures Nutrient deficiency Dietary intake How long have you been doing high enemas? How long have you had colon inertia? Best Dr Ben

  • I have been so treated like a lab rat by medical drs.(not you),...;) however i have been doing high colonic enemas for a year, & drs knew ALL this for years, been hospitalized MANY TIMES, just to pay then to do enemas.....ive already had a bowel re section,...have adhesions extrenly bad due to endometreosis from 16-28 full hysterectomy, now im 46 survived a coma, being DOA in 2006, after speaking to many naturopath, etc, no doubt its been my colon all along,.......then why do colonic hydrotherapist suggest 100% pure peppermint oil few drops in the water????? is it the ones they sell, cause they are wayyyyyy more exspensive,? explain please?, and i just in the past 6 months got a dignosis after sitx marker test, sigmoidscopy, ekg thing on your buttocks,defofraphy, manyyyyy other test, now i am going through phys therapy to try to build up my muscles which i think is silly , how is 8 treatments an hour each gonna make a differeance but cushion this drs wallet, only ONE in houston......& it is his. my baby sister has had her colon removed same prob, direct connect, he brags how hes the only dr that does this, she was in her 20's when she got hers, 2 years younger than myself im 46......been doing enemas everyday for a solid year, i have 1 doctor whom is extremly sharp, she dont like the idea, afraid of me perfoating, or inducing too much water that my colon will rupture, IM SCARED AS WELL,......so my life is in GODS HANDS , mine, and drs.....so i have to get advice somewhere, whats your ADVICE.....thanks,

    also already had colon resection in 2000, left sigmoidectomy
    adhesion removal 71/2 hr surgury also, i get b12 shots every 2 weeks seems to help alot, the other drs never ever mentioned?????
  • This is 'essential oil of peppermint' vs 'oil of peppermint' There is a difference. My understanding, oil of peppermint is safe to use internally while essential oil of peppermint is not. High enemas with large amounts of water is risky and definitely does cause problems with the colon in terms of losing the urge to have a bowel movement. Have you tried high dose probiotics, Trifal, digestive enzymes, stomach acid and contrast hydrotherapy? Yoga? Best, Dr Ben

    Only thing DRS EVER DID WAS KINDA TELL ME TO GET OFF DAIRY, so for a solid year BIGGGGG DIET CHANGES,
    no dairy, no gluten, no no breads, water, water,is ALL I DRINK, no caffiene, i drink so delious cocnut milk or silk, lost 50 pounds i am at my highschool sz , still losing,.....only thing through research i do myself get b12 injections, 1 every 2 weeks,...explain all those a little more to me if you dont mind.....for years drs knew i was impacting myself,....this colo/rectal surgeon i see now, is like WOW, that alone can ruin your rectum & they knew this? i replied yes....thanks i value your opinion.
