It is well known that antioxidants are molecules that "slow down" or prevent oxidative stress, or free-radical damage due to excessive exposure to pollution, pesticides, rancid fats and alcohol, among other things. The Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine states: "Free-radical, or "oxidative", damage is what makes us age. Free-radicals have also been shown to be responsible for the initiation of many diseases, including the two biggest killers of Americans: heart disease and cancer."

Phyto Rad Antioxidant is a combination of herbal and nutritional ingredients shown to have high antioxidant activity. Antioxidants scavenge free radicals. The main ingredient, Milk Thistle, has been used traditionally for hundreds of years for its protective effect on the liver and ability to boost the body's synthesis of the powerful antioxidant: Glutathione. Turmeric and Ginkgo Biloba have both been used by herbalists because of their reported ability to support inflammatory conditions of all kinds and assist the cardiovascular system through their antioxidant phytochemicals. Lastly, Green Tea extract, Quercitin and Grape Seed extract all provide bioflavonoids. A growing body of research suggests that bioflavanoids may support the body in conditions of inflammation and pain, strengthening blood vessels, improving circulation, fighting bacteria and viruses, improving liver function, lowering cholesterol levels and improving vision.

Phyto Rad Antioxidant is a powerful antioxidant Spagyric combination, and can complement any healing strategy targeting oxidative stress.
