  • They are different. Cell salts and tissue salts use the same potency of 6x and 12x. Homeopathics use higher potencies typically and they definitely utilize a different preparation than cell salts and tissue salts.   • Homeopathics do only contain a tiny amount - very tiny. They can be used as a treatment yes. Homeopathics cannot be used as a preventative - you are correct. Biochemic salts can be used as a treatment and as a preventative. For example, if someone is stressed out and anxious, one can use BIoChemic Phosphates at that moment to help calm down. One can also use BioChemic Phosphates to help prevent from being anxious and stressed out. However, one cannot use Kali Phos 30X to prevent from being anxious or stressed as it will actually potentially cause stress and anxiety (as a proving) in a non-stressed individual. Dr Ben

  • As with homeopathic remedies when eating or drinking around taking them, do you have to take them 15 minutes before or after eating or drinking. Also can you take more than the recommeded dose? I read where someone was taking up to 10 to 12 tablets 3xs a day.
  • Hello - I find it easiest to simply add 25 tablets to a liter of filtered water and drinking this throughout the day. If you need more, simply add more or make another batch of 25 tablets in a liter of water. Easy and you get hydrated ;) It doesn't matter with food or without food. Best Dr Ben

  • Thank you for your advice! I have some more questions. I ordered both Bioplasma and #2 Cal Phos for my son who is not growing well. Should he take them together or separated for maximum effect? Bioplasma has Cal Phos in it but it is x3 potency. #2 Cal Phos is x6 potency.

  • Hello - You may give both cell salts at the same time. I also recommend Silicea 6x as well to help growth. Cooking with cell salts - I am not sure about that. It may be ok - and it may not be. Interesting idea. They are just minerals so heat should be fine but I am not positive. Typically I just give cell salts directly by mouth or put in water, stir and give that way.   • I'm not sure Bioplasma is exactly what you are looking for. I would reccomend Migra-Clear by Biogenesis or Migranol by Designs for help. Both have been tested for migrane relief.

    They do not use eggs as a source of protein either. They do however supplement

  • Bioplasma may be a good addition as it contains useful salts for the body. There is no toxicity from Bioplasma. The best way to take it is to add 25 tablets into a liter of water and drink throughout the day. I would make sure they supplement with vitamin D3 - 2,000 IU per day at least which is 1 drop of Vitamin D360 daily: http://www.healthegoods.com/vitamin-d360-by-seeking-health.html This is in a base of olive oil and the D3 comes from lanolin which is from sheep's wool. There is no vegan source of D3 and D3 is the most needed form of vitamin D.     I do not think so. Bioplasma works differently than standard mineral supplementation. I do recommend trying to supplement with BIoplasma for a couple months and then recheck your potassium and calcium levels.

    I recommend adding 30 tablets of Bioplasma to a liter water bottle and drinking it throughout the day.

    I think if you did this during exercise, sauna, hot baths or any activity where you sweat, it would be a good idea.

    Doing it every day is likely not necessary unless you are feeling very depleted.

    With the thyroid, more intensive nutritional support is recommended, and then you can use cell salts as supportive therapy.

    Since the thyroid is linked to the adrenals in metabolism, Dr. Ben recommends using cell salts which support the adrenals:

    - Kali Phos 6x- Silicea 6x- Mag Phos 6x- Calc Phos 6x

    Those are the main four for maintaining and supporting healthy mind - reducing stress and anxiety is critical to a healthy thyroid.

    However, again, the thyroid needs more intensive nutritional and dietary support, as do the adrenals.

    Please work with your health care provicer to address both your adrenal and thyroid health.

    All cell salts offered at Healthy Goods are safe to give to infants and all other ages.  Cell salts do not normally interfere with medications, but please make sure your child's health care provider is aware you are interested in giving cell salts.

  • When drinking the liter of water with the cell salts, is it okay to eat when drinking the cell salt laden water? I was told you had to wait 15 minutes before and after taking cell salts to eat or drink anything to allow the cell salt to absorb in your system. Is this true?

  • Hello,

    Look under your tongue. It is an environment full of capillaries (blood vessels) surrounded by very soft tissue. If you want something to be absorbed directly into the human body, what better place to do it than somewhere that is rich in blood vessels that carry blood throughout your system rapidly!

    Homeopathic products are very clean-meaning they have no binders, fillers or coatings. The soft molded lactose tablets are made to dissolve almost instantly when placed in the mouth. Because the remedies dissolve in the mouth, they are absorbed by the mucous membranes in the mouth and carried directly into your system. For this reason, the remedies work faster than conventional medicines because conventional medicines are usually coated and don't get absorbed into the system until the coating is dissolved by the stomach acid, and that generally takes about twenty minutes.

    Homeopathic medicated pellets take longer to dissolve, but they don't taste bad so it is worth the wait. Dilutions are liquid and should be dropped directly under the tongue.

    Because the remedies are very clean and fragile, avoid handling them. It is preferable to drop the tablets or pellets into the cap of the bottle, and pour them from the cap into your mouth. If more than four pour into the cap, take four-don't put the pills back into the bottle.

    You cannot overdose on homeopathic medicines. If you take fifteen tablets or five tablets (or 100 tablets for that matter) AT ONE TIME it is one dose. You will stimulate your curative response one time. So, it is not a tragedy if more than six tablets fall into the cap, just take them rather than risk putting a contaminated pill back into the bottle to contaminate the others in the bottle.

    Finally, some homeopathic medicines may be antidoted by things like mint, caffeine or other remedies. In order to help prevent antidotes, take your remedies one at a time, with a "clean mouth".  It is best not to eat or drink 15 minutes before or after taking the remedies.

    You do not need to avoid specific foods when taking cell salts; however, please avoid eating or drinking anything 15 minutes before or after ingesting the cell salts.  In other words, take your cell salts with a “clean mouth.”

    People who are lactose intolerant have not yet developed the enzymes to digest lactose. Our products contain about 64 milligrams of lactose (the sugar from cow's milk-no protein is used) per tablet. While everyone is different, most lactose intolerant individuals would need to ingest 5000 mg of lactose before they experience symptoms of intolerance. With this large margin of safety, there is rarely a problem with our products when being used as directed on the label. If your physician has determined that you are specifically "Allergic to Lactose", you should avoid our tablets. If you are very concerned, seek the advice of a licensed health care professional before using this product.
