Great tasting and nice thick consistency makes my boys love Frutol. It is not oily or fishy at all. It tastes like like a very slightly sweet pineapple. (Posted on 10/17/12)

- constipation in toddler at 3/19/12 4:42 PM
- Our autistic boy, age 3 now, had trouble with gas as an infant, no problem with formula as he got older, but almost as soon as we started whole milk, he became constipated. Upon returning to the formula, in 3 days, he was having normal bowel movements. When returning to the milk, same thing; constipation. How much of the Pure Fish Oil per day should we try?
- Hello - It is a good idea to keep your son off of dairy products. Dairy is linked to destroying folate receptors in the brain which is very devastating to healthy neurotransmitter function. One study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18461502 and http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2715943/pdf/nihms122104.pdf He should try taking 2 teaspoons of Frutol daily - with food. I also highly recommend you consider ProBiota Sensitive and give him 1 capsule daily with food.
