  • Hello - We are finding out for you. I am the type of person that prefers people making their own hormones through the nutrients required to do so. This allows your body to actively produce needed hormones and neurotransmitters. Here is how I recommend increasing epinephrine levels: You can increase epinephrine by taking L-Tyrosine.   • Please forgive my lack of communication on the previous question. My need is a supplement that contains adrenal cortex only in order to avoid epinephrine spikes or surges. I am treating hypothyroid with adrenal fatigue. I need to support the adrenal recovery without stimulating or adding additional adrenaline.

  • How do you know when to increase the dosage? I have been on one capsule a day for a week. I also take Thyroid Gold, one capsule at the present time, and .5 mcg levothyroxine. have had panic attacks since I was about 16, so, adrenals have always been a problem, just didn't know it.
  • A holistic-minded doctor is the best bet here. There are countless reasons for depleted adrenals and thyroid. Simply taking nutrients to alleviate those symptoms may not be enough - lifestyle and diet may be needed along with testing.   • Is this ok to take while breastfeeding? I had adrenal fatigue about 5 years ago and I think my adrenals are shot again. I have a 4 1/2 month baby that is finally sleeping more, but I find I have had really bad insomnia, some nights not falling asleep until 5 am or not at all. I found when I had adrenal fatigue before I would loose the ability to fall asleep or stay asleep.
