Bariani Raw Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- USDA Organic
Olive oil contains tons of antioxidants, which may help battle inflammation in the body. It is also a rich source of healthy monounsaturated fats, most notably oleic acid. These healthy fats are known to provide great benefit to both the heart and brain. The fatty acids in olive oil also help the body better absorb the fat-soluble vitamins, A, D, E and K.
Olives oil uses
Olive oil has been used for its benefits for thousands of years in everything from skin care products to heart-healthy supplements. Olive Oil can be used in dressing for salads, as a dip for breads or to add flavor your favorite no heat/low-heat dishes.
Note: Because of the fragile state of the beneficial monounsaturated fats in olive oil, it is not recommended to cook with it over high heat. The smoking point of high-quality olive oil is usually between the range of 325 and 375 degrees Fahrenheit, at which the beneficial fats begin to break down into harmful, toxic chemicals.
How is Bariani Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced?
Bariani Extra Virgin Olive Oil is hand-harvested, which ensures proper handling and care of the fragile olives. After the olives are rinsed free of debris, they are crushed into a paste. The olive oil is then cold-press from the paste and stored in stainless steal tanks to await bottling, maintaining all of its beneficial fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and other nutrients all the way to the bottle.
