Possible Cleansing-type Symptoms
Some people are sensitive and may experience some unpleasant cleansing-type symptoms when first consuming Vega One. Duration of symptoms vary but may last less than a week. The following are some of the more common ones:
Bloated stomach and gas: Your body may be unaccustomed to a higher fiber diet; the bacteria in your normal GI track will produce gas as they ferment the extra fiber. However, your body will learn to adjust and symptoms will decrease.
Diarrhea: Your body tries to quickly excrete undesirable substances. People with weak digestive systems or those who normally eat few fruits and vegetables and make a sudden change are most susceptible.
Constipation: Dehydration may lead to constipation. Foods high in fiber must be accompanied by plenty of water. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. To minimize cleansing-type symptoms, start by taking just a small amount of Vega One, perhaps one-quarter to one-half of the suggested serving size and increase consumption gradually as your body adapts to it.
