Doctor Oz’s Prehistoric Diet Breakfast is called “It’s Easy Being Green Smoothie”
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of kale (you can use spinach or collard greens too)
- 2 tbsp hempseeds and/or flaxseeds
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup of frozen cherries
- 1/4 cup of frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup of frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup of frozen mango pieces
- 1 medium banana (peel and break into pieces)
- 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
Place all of the ingredients into the blender. Cheryl, one of the Prehistoric Diet participants, used a spoon to mash it all in. The smoothie is a dark green color. They taste it and Cheryl states that “it’s delicious.”
